Kidney diseases, nephritis and renal insufficiency

Kidney diseases can be treated with acupuncture and phytotherapy. The therapy can be combined very well with the basic therapeutic methods of conventional medicine. Acupuncture treatment increases the blood flow to the kidneys, thus promoting the removal of toxic substances and the regeneration of damaged cells in the kidneys. With long-term acupuncture treatment, symptoms can be effectively improved and pain relieved. This strengthens the body's immunity and helps to stabilise the disease.

To cure kidney disease and speed up recovery, acupuncture should be used together with other medicines, and Chinese herbs.

Generally, the urine volume increased after 3 treatments and the edema disappeared within 7 days.

In chronic renal insufficiency, the application of moxibustion on Da Zhui, Pi Yu, Tan Zhong, Zhong Wan, Shen Que, Guan Yuan and Zu San Li points on the basis of dialysis therapy can further improve symptoms and promote the excretion of metabolic products and toxic substances, improve hormone synthesis and secretion, and reduce damage to kidney tissues
