Meniere's disease is a severe form of attack vertigo. It occurs most often between the ages of 50 and 60, and men suffer from it more often than women. In this form of vertigo, the production of the inner ear fluid (endolymph) is disturbed. This causes excess pressure in the inner ear, which leads to repeated tearing of fine membranes that surround this endolymph, separating it from other fluids in the ear. This can cause sudden shifts of fluid.
Symptoms
Dizziness
Hearing loss
Tinnitus
Sweating
Vomiting
Acupuncture treatment can relieve symptoms such as dizziness in a short time, as well as greatly reducing or normalising tinnitus and deafness.
Acupuncture can regulate vertebrobasilar artery blood flow, relieve vagal spasm, improve cerebral blood circulation, reduce vagal oedema and promote restoration of inner ear function.
